Medical Research Expert (Oncologist) at Savana

Savana is looking for a Medical Research Expert (Oncologist) to play a key and exciting role in our fast-growing company, serving Spanish, English, German, and French speaking markets. Based remotely in Spain, he/she will participate in the challenging project of expanding Savana worldwide as well as serving our home market, Spain.

Major Accountabilities where this role is involved:

  • Promote Savana's ability to properly read medical concepts through annotation of medical documents and detection and resolution of reading issues.
  • Provide medical advice to research projects from project definition and protocol development to medical review of statistical analysis, study reports, and scientific publications.
  • Provide medical advice for the definition of Savana's new products and functionalities.
  • Operate according to Security Policies, Procedures, and Manuals.
  • Report any suspected incidents or improvement proposals.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:

  • Degree in Medicine (Oncology) with clinical experience.
  • Previous experience in clinical research (clinical trials and RWE studies design and/or management) is a significant advantage.
  • Computer skills are required.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of clinical terminologies such as SNOMED is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documents.
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
  • Ability to embrace changes and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
