Mechanical Electrical Engineer

Are you a Mechanical / Electrical engineer, experienced in the design and management of electrical and mechanical projects?

The opportunity

Due to projects ramping up, our client is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineer responsible for the management, calculation, and design of MEP installation projects in the field of Data Centers.

Candidates can be based out of Barcelona or Madrid.

Hybrid.

Candidates must have a right to work in Spain / EU, and speak Spanish / Catalan and Professional English.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

1. Development of preliminary designs, basic projects, and executive projects for MEP installations, as well as studies, reports, and other technical projects.
2. Leading meetings with clients, contractors, and subconsultants.
3. Managing the internal engineering team.
4. Preparing and reviewing tender documents and contracts for MEP packages.
5. Experience in technical details, contractual documentation, implementation, and contract management.
6. Drafting, developing, and editing plans and models related to the project.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and management of electrical and mechanical projects, preferably in a Technical Office.
2. Bachelor's degree in Industrial / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
4. Languages: Catalan / Spanish. Advanced English is essential.
