What the role entails

Some of the key responsibilities of our Manual QA Engineer will be:

1. Team Member Role that requires general supervision
2. Reviews software requirements and specifications
3. Conducts system analysis and creates documentation when necessary
4. Prepares and reviews test cases
5. Executes Manual tests and analyzes results to ensure highest quality
6. Reports, records (using a specific quality management system like Jira), and monitors defects
7. Helps troubleshoot issues and retest bugs
8. Provides daily reporting and communication of work done
9. Collaborates with other team members or members on other sites when needed
10. Keeps up-to-date on the latest advances in the test community
11. Prepares and reviews test plans
12. Coaches and mentors other testers on a daily basis
13. Manually play the game, testing all levels and aspects of it, which are not limited to gameplay, graphics, content, sound, animation, etc.
14. Update test cases to uncover more bugs and/or to align and comply with supported jurisdictional requirements
15. Focus on the playability of a game and suggest improvements
16. Checks that the game is compatible with supported software and hardware such as Embedded testing
17. Write Game specific test cases
18. Collate and manage internal or external feedback
19. Assist Product Team and Scrum Masters in collating and managing internal or external feedback
20. Advocates best QA practices

What we ask of you

• +2 years testing experience in the igaming industry
• Test Plan Creation
• Experience in Defect Management including tracking and reporting bugs using JIRA
• Knowledge in database validation, negative testing, error/bug retests and usability, regression, and functional testing
• ISTQB testing certification
• Defect logging
• Mobile Testing
• Collaboration skills, great team player
• Communication skills
• Preferences: Automation Testing skills, Browserstack knowledge
