Job Summary:

Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, the person is responsible for carrying out maintenance work (preventive/predictive) and repair (corrective) of the Plant's mechanical equipment, following the established procedures and/or advice received, ensuring that the tasks are executed at the right time, with quality and a technically correct method in order to achieve maximum performance and availability of the Plant, assisting the Electrical Supervisor in solving problems. Also acting in accordance with the role designated in the PEI (Support Team Member) in case of declaring the emergency. All of this prioritizing the safety of people, the protection of the environment and equipment through strict compliance with established Plant standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act in the event of an emergency as a member of the intervention team and/or support team, or take over as substitutes for other emergency team appointments, as defined in the internal emergency plan.
2. Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance work on electrical equipment, instruments and control systems, in accordance with the maintenance plan.
3. Troubleshoot and repair electrical plant equipment that is faulty or not functioning properly.
4. Supervise E&I tasks contracted to external companies.
5. Participate in maintenance meetings to resolve breakdowns.
6. Prepare repair and/or technical reports of various kinds and collaborate in the analysis and investigation of incidents.
7. Collaborate in the preparation of maintenance procedures and instructions and completion of the associated records of their competence, shutdown planning, maintenance plans, proposing, if possible, improvements therein.
8. Use the Plant Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders, work permits, material requests, closure reports, etc., also carrying out the tasks of the person in charge when his or her substitute is designated.
9. Ensure the correct and effective implementation of the integrated safety, health, environment and serious accident management system for the location of the assigned group, based on the responsibilities indicated in the application procedures.
