In this project, the candidate will develop the ecosystem to uptake FAIR data principles in the laser additive manufacturing (LAM) production and X-ray computed tomography (XCT) characterization with the objective to extend it to other areas of the institute. In detail, the main research tasks include:
The position is most appropriate for master's graduates in informatics or engineers with strong experience in data management, databases, and computer setting. Experience in Linux OS and programming skills (Python, Java, etc.) are required for the job.
A solid background in informatics, as well as the ability to handle system administration, is essential. Experience in setting up computers and servers is necessary. The candidate will work closely with international material science experts and the IT team of IMDEA Materials. Full proficiency in English, oral and written, is mandatory.
