At Meltio, we are looking for a Logistics Technician to join our growing Logistics team!

What are we looking for?

The logistics technician is a multidisciplinary profile. He or she not only organizes and plans the supply chain processes, but also cooperates with other departments to achieve objectives such as ensuring that transport agencies deliver orders on time and under the conditions agreed with customers. In addition, he or she must plan the logistics strategy, monitor and optimize all processes in the supply chain, and ensure the efficient distribution of goods.

The ideal candidate must be proactive and highly motivated to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Logistics management and monitoring of equipment transportation
• Management, follow-up and resolution of transport incidents
• Interlocution with transport companies (courier, Forwarder, etc.)
• Interlocution with transit warehouse and limited stock control
• International shipments
• Intra-community shipments
• Determine delivery times
• Control and filing of the documentation of each shipment
• Incoterms
• Order control and invoicing
• Claims management and RPA
• Import and export credits
• Traceability

You will be a great fit for the Meltio team if you are / have:

• Creative thinker, positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused and achievement-oriented
• 3+ years of experience in international logistics
• Bachelor's degree in management, international trade, logistics
• Experience in warehouse-related activities: receiving and shipping of goods, stock management, order picking
• Knowledge of computerized warehouse management systems
• Strong technical and business acumen
• High level of proficiency working with international organizations
• Confident negotiator and influential in business discussions
• Able to quickly establish relationships and credibility with partners
• Proficient in spoken and written English
