BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a Logistics Assistant (Temporary Contract) - Barcelona.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of a well-experienced team, with a versatile mindset & full alignment with the Sales Department.
• Negotiate freight costs to customers in coordination with the Sales Manager to obtain a minimum of 3 competitive freight offers for our customer portfolio.
• Centralize all call-offs / complaints from the 3 plants (Barcelona / Cartagena / Bilbao) to work efficiently on a central basis.
• Accommodate call-offs for each of the plants according to the refinery's planning.
• Forecast monthly needs aligned to refinery utilization and sales program forecast.
• Manage customer pricing & contracts, ensuring accountability for execution and monitoring backlogs and financing charges.
• Follow up on receivables to track the performance of our Working Capital and implement financial tools to improve our KPIs (ROIG).
• Maintain a positive attitude towards continuous improvement / learning.
• Be knowledgeable of current systems to automate flows and optimize information through existing ERP (SAP).

Qualifications:

• 5 years of working experience.
• University degree in business or a related field.
• Skilled in decision-making & negotiation.
• Fluent in Spanish & English; other languages (French & Catalan) will be a plus.
• Customer-focused, teamwork-oriented, entrepreneurial, results-oriented, independent, with the ability to make decisions & influence others.
