Linux Administrator

In the framework of the IT area of Space Electronics, in order to cope with new challenges of industrialization and digitalization, the candidate will be part of the team in charge of giving support on the IT topics in the planning, development, and implementation of new functionalities in a new digital platform at Airbus.

This new digital platform is being used in Space Equipment to enable the digitalization of the development process for Electronic Units. It changes the way of working from design to manufacturing, fostering collaboration through shared databases and systems, setting the pillars for Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.

The main tasks to perform are:

1. Installation / Maintenance HW y SW on Linux Servers: CentOS6,7,8, and Ubuntu
2. File servers’ administration Ubuntu & CentOS 6,7,8 with RAID10 or NetAPP
3. Collaborative Servers administration like Redmine, Dokuwiki or Gitlab
4. Support and resolution of incidents to Windows and Linux users on site or ex situ
5. Automation of common tasks
6. Process Documentation

Required Qualifications/Skills:

1. Knowledge of Linux operating systems with user and administrator level
2. Knowledge of Windows operating systems with user level
3. Knowledge of Collaborative and Monitoring Tools
4. Knowledge of LAN networks
5. Good Team spirit and business-orientation

Other Skills:

1. Capability to integrate and work in multidisciplinary design teams
2. Capability to communicate to have a good relationship with the client

Education:

1. Higher Technician in Network Computer Systems Administration. Most desirable option.
2. Higher Technician in Telecommunications and Computer Systems
