Role Mission:
You will be part of the Business Legal Team that advises in a wide range of matters related to:
Your focus will be Spain, Portugal and Latam. However, you will be part of a small but high performing international team of lawyers each working on domestic and global topics, and you will therefore have multi-regional responsibility and be pivotal in the provision of quality cross-border legal advice.
What you’ll do: The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks
The main tasks are listed below. The role may evolve according to the priorities identified by the group given the dynamic and responsive nature of the Legal Team.
What you need to succeed: Job Requirements
Spanish Degree in Law and LL.M. in Professional Legal Practice or equivalent; Fluent in English (working language) and Spanish. The candidate must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to draft complex legal texts in both languages. Additional languages (particularly Portuguese and any official languages of Spain) are a plus; A minimum of 2+ years’ professional experience practising as a lawyer, in-house with consumer law focus preferred; Strong consumer law knowledge and experience in the digital sector is required, experience in the travel industry an advantage but not essential; Experience managing procedures with the public administrations and/or related to Consumers or Travel industry preferred; Excellent communication and influencing skills with strict attention to detail and the ability to manage projects and priorities; Strong work ethic and organisational skills with the desire and motivation to design and implement streamlined procedures and workflows. Versatility is essential as you will be asked to assist in a wide range of matters.
