Laboratory Technician (Nephrology and kidney transplantation) PH-399

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation Research Group.

Education and qualifications:

1. Laboratory technician FPII or degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or similar
2. Certificate in handling animals for research purposes

Experience and knowledge:

1. Experience in animal experimentation (primarily handling mice)
2. Responsible, organized and motivated
3. A degree of independence and teamwork skills

Desired:

1. Experience in a similar position
2. Experience in other molecular biology techniques (histology, cell culture, WB, immunofluorescence)
3. Fluent in English (B2 or equivalent)

Main responsibilities and duties:

1. Technical support in mouse experimental procedures.
2. Technical support in other molecular biology techniques (histology, cell culture, WB, immunofluorescence).
3. Support in lab organization (manage orders, reagent preparation).

Labour conditions:

1. Full-time position: 40h/week
2. Starting date: Immediate
3. Length of the contract: 18 months including a trial period
4. Gross annual salary: 18,589.05 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
5. Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
