Laboratory Technician, Barcelona

Scentmate by dsm-firmenich is looking for a full-time laboratory technician to be based in Barcelona. The focus is on fragrance oil compounding for all product categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Compound fragrance oils for perfumers in a timely manner with right quality
• Support perfumers at laboratory and formula administration level
• Contribute to laboratory daily routines
• Manage stock of ingredients, fragrance library and laboratory supplies

Application

• Produce application samples in a timely manner with right quality
• Manage stock of fragrance library, bases, and laboratory supplies

General

• Report any issue with proactive solution ideas. Take prompt action on decisions made to fix it
• Respect health and safety rules
• Collaborate actively with the rest of the laboratory and creative team

Training and Experience

• 2-5 years' experience in a compounding role within the fragrance industry
• Interest in working with all laboratory techniques and software
• Fluent in Spanish. Good basic English. French is a plus.
