Junior Power Trader

Duferco Iberia is looking to hire a Junior Trader to bid renewable units into the spot Spanish energy market.

The activities :

• Develop, update, maintain 7 / 7 optimization strategies for bidding and intraday trading.
• Develop algorithmic trading strategies.
• Optimize the hedging of renewable production.
• Issue and maintain market intelligence and KPI performance reports.

Skills :

• Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or other disciplines with significant exposure to computing and quantitative subjects.
• Good knowledge of Python, VBA / Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• Flexibility and availability to perform out of scope tasks which might be needed in a startup.

Nice to have :

• Up to 3 years of experience in bidding / intraday in a power trading company is considered a plus.
