To this end, the JTO is looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.

  • Collaborate with the IT Department to facilitate the management of the webpage, update contents, and include new information.
  • Support team members with the supervision of task development by using task-management tools.
  • Organize workshops, conferences, and events to disseminate research findings and promote dialogue.
  • Support the elaboration of reports, articles, and media content related to the climate agenda.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including governments, private sector, academia, and civil society organizations, to foster collaboration.
  • Elaborate case studies on just transition strategies and policies at the country level.
  • Identify just transition indicators that have been proposed or used by countries, regions, businesses, or international organizations in the above sectors.
  • Elaborate presentations, briefings, reports, and other materials linked to just transition implementation and financing.

Qualifications

Professional experience:

  • Master’s degree in Climate Change, Energy, Climate Change and Development, International Relations, Sustainability, Environmental Policy, Economics or a related field.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or social studies like International Relations, Sociology, Political Sciences, Economics or a related field.
