Junior Go Developer – Remote / Freelance

We’re on a mission to create powerful tools and features for tabletop and online gamers worldwide. We're looking for a Junior Go Developer to support our development efforts and grow with us as we shape the future of digital gaming communities.

What You’ll Do :

• Write and maintain backend services and APIs in Go (Golang) .
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other backend devs to build new features and improve performance.
• Help maintain and scale infrastructure used by thousands of gamers.
• Debug issues, optimize performance, and write clean, maintainable code.
• Contribute ideas and feedback based on your experience as a gamer!

What We’re Looking For :

• Basic experience in Go (Golang) , ideally through personal projects, internships, or early professional work.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and common backend patterns.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• Comfortable using Git and basic development workflows.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and work collaboratively in a remote team.
• Bonus : Experience with Docker, microservices, or working in a cloud environment.

Big Plus :

• A genuine love for board games , TTRPGs , or online gaming .
• You understand the needs and wants of the gaming community because you’re a part of it.
• You’ve worked on gaming-related apps or tools (even as personal projects).
