We are looking for a Junior Front-end Contentful Developer (Headless CMS Developer) to join our growing marketing team in Madrid, Spain (flexible working time and partial remote work possible).
In this role, you will help develop and enhance our company website, which is visited by thousands of customers daily and is crucial to our success. You will play a central role in driving innovation and ensuring our website remains robust and user-friendly. Your responsibilities will include developing new functionalities and maintaining our current website infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies such as Contentful, React, and AWS.
The right person for the job is an autonomous person and a team player with strong problem-solving skills. You enjoy learning and sharing best practices and your definition of “done” includes your customers’ satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Contentful headless CMS.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in CMS administration, data modeling, and frontend development.
- Create well-designed, testable, efficient code.
- Work on proposals involving solutions/architecture related to frontend (React.JS) and CMS Contentful technologies using Gatsby.
- Manage and configure Contentful CMS, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, and work proactively to prevent potential problems.
- Contribute to the documentation to share knowledge and increase the team's expertise.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, content creators, and marketers to deliver cohesive and engaging digital experiences.
Minimum Requirements
- Around 3 years of professional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Previous experience working with Contentful or other headless CMS is a must.
- Previous experience with cloud architectures, e.g. AWS, Azure and Google Cloud are a plus.
- Experience with RESTful APIs is a plus.
- Previous experience with website analytics tracking methods is a plus.
- Previous experience working with React and Typescript.
- Knowledge of GIT.
- Knowledge Redux or React context.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Understanding the importance of a software development methodology and teamwork.
- Proficient English language skills, written and spoken.
