Junior Accountant

What will you do?

We are looking for a Mid / Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. Part of your main responsibilities in this role will be:

1. Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Accurately elaborate Holaluz financial statements at consolidated levels and for any individual legal entity. Participate in the monthly closing process to elaborate the financial statements.
3. Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help the organization run efficiently.
4. Be part of AP Team.
5. Prepare journal entries as necessary during the month in liaison with Controllers.
6. Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyze variances.
7. Bank reconciliations for all legal entities.
8. Be responsible for Inter-company balances and reconciliations.
9. Monitor group interest loans, monthly calculations, and accruals.
10. GL accounts reconciliations.
11. Propose improvements to optimize and automate processes and calculations.
12. Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
13. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
14. Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
15. Collaborate with the other finance teams (controlling, treasury and internal audit) to support overall team goals and objectives.
16. Collaborate with internal and external audits.
17. Assist in the development and implementation of new products and ERP.
18. Coordination with Accounting, Treasury, B2C, Energy Management, Legal, Solar and Tech teams to ensure the robustness of the data registered in the ERP on a timely basis in order to have a monthly report that properly reflects the real image of the company’s activities.
