Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. This role involves handling transactional activities, preparing financial statements, and contributing to regular reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, a strong aptitude for working with numbers, and a keen eye for accuracy. The primary objective is to enhance the department's efficiency and ensure the company maintains a clear and accurate understanding of its financial health.

Main responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile daily transactions in accounting systems.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Perform bank reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with local and international requirements.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Assist in internal and external audits.

• Support other accounting projects as needed.

• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Provide administrative support related to financial activities.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in an accounting and administration department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (candidates in the process of graduating are also welcome).

• Fluent in English.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel).

• Interested in developing a long-term career in finance and administration.

• Organized and eager to grow.

• Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and ability to understand the global business picture.

• Hands-on experience with ERP preferred (Oracle Netsuite).
