The IT department is responsible for and designs the entire IT of the City of Munich. We ensure that IT provision meets the city's current and future needs. We drive the digitalization of the city of Munich and play a pioneering role. Our work and services make the city of Munich a digital metropolis that sets standards that its employees are proud of.

As part of the IT department, we ensure a modern IT and telecommunications infrastructure, implement professional IT solutions and secure the IT operations of the City of Munich with over 1,200 employees in our own company it@M.

What you can expect

Digital file management enables and promotes the digital transformation of the city administration - it is one of the central components of our digitalization strategy. We are expanding our eFile Competence Center in this area and are looking for committed individuals who want to help us shape the history of digital file management at LHM. You will actively shape the continuous professional development of the city-wide eFile. It is important that you think outside the box and develop innovative ideas. You will thoroughly analyze technical requirements in order to assess their feasibility as well as economic and legal aspects. You will also research the functionalities in the standard product and evaluate their usefulness for the specialist departments. Your expertise flows not only into technical concepts and application scenarios, but above all into the technical management of the specialist analysts and advising digitization experts. Through a constant exchange with other specialist architects and business process modellers, you will actively drive forward the digitalization of the state capital.

You have

• A successfully completed university degree at Master's level in the field of computer science or business informatics or
• A successfully completed university degree at Master's level with many years (at least three years) of professional experience in the IT sector
• Many years (at least three years) of professional experience in requirements management

In particular, you bring with you

• Expert knowledge of methods for process analysis and process documentation as well as in stakeholder and change management, experience in strategic business process and requirements management of large IT projects or digitization programs as well as in the implementation of digitization and IT strategies
• Result and goal orientation, in particular analytical thinking and strategic skills
• Communication skills, in particular communication strength, comprehensible presentation of complex relationships, information strength and persuasiveness

The following are an advantage

• Knowledge of agile methods in the fields of requirements engineering, business process management and project management
