Tasks

• As an IT project manager, you develop visionary project plans and set clear, effective milestones for major projects in the energy industry and retail sector. You always keep track of progress, recognize challenges at an early stage and proactively counteract them, because you not only see problems, but also solutions.
• As a driving force, you take responsibility for the entire project and lead cross-functional teams of business and IT experts. You will create an inspiring team culture that focuses on innovation, collaboration, and personal development.
• You are responsible for the digital transformation of our division. You will develop forward-looking IT solutions that optimize our market access, enable data-driven analyses, and make retail processes more efficient.
• You keep internal and external stakeholders up to date at all times through transparent and effective communication. You understand their requirements, skilfully integrate them into project planning, and ensure that everyone pulls in the same direction.
• With your structured risk management and consistent quality control, you ensure that every solution not only meets expectations but exceeds them. At the same time, you continuously develop new methods and optimize PMO processes to stay one step ahead.
• But you don't just stay on course for success yourself; you also coach and advise other project managers so that they can develop their full potential and implement projects with the same excellence as you.

Requirements

• You have a Master's degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• You have already gained several years of professional experience in the project management of complex, cross-functional projects and in the Project Management Office. Ideally, you already have knowledge of multi-project management.
• You are able to effectively manage both internal and external project partners. Ideally, you are familiar with the processes of a utility company. You also have sound experience in escalation and de-escalation management.
• You are also familiar with the relevant tools, such as MS Project or Jira.
• Your personality is characterized by an independent, decisive, highly responsible way of working and the ability to motivate and harmonize the needs of different stakeholders.
• You are a real team player and are characterized by your reliable way of working and active communication skills, which you also use in a demanding work environment, if necessary in English.
