Works on assigned projects related to property systems
Provides end user support for property systems
Assists with Guest & Administrative Network Issues
Management of PBX switch and admin phone and assistance with guest room phones
Makes recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the current systems
Takes a proactive approach in assisting with vendor upgrades and property specific systems
Provides and/or coordinates training for end users on resort systems
Guest Room and Meeting room support for HSIA and telephone services. MAC orders for the PBX system
Handles all meeting space setups and group technology business. The tech will need to set Phone and High-Speed Internet access lines for groups and in-house meetings, as they are needed. The tech will need to have these set and tested pre-meeting, and be ready to respond to the guests' changing needs as pop-up requests arise. As technology is an essential part of business meetings, service and a can-do attitude are a must
Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
Communicates all pertinent information to the IT team
Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies, and equipment
Remains alert, courteous, and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
All Associates are required to fully comply with hotel and departmental rules, regulations, and policies for the safe, secure, effective, and environmentally friendly operation of the hotel facilities. Examples include, but are not limited to lost and found procedures, emergency procedures, recycling efforts, etc.
Attend and participate in all hotel and/or departmental meetings, training sessions, and other information meetings
Regular attendance in conformance with hotel standards is essential to the successful performance of this position
Comply with hotel grooming standards for both uniformed and non-uniformed associates
Comply with hotel service and behavioral standards towards our guests, vendors, and fellow colleagues, including, but not limited to ensuring proper phone etiquette, courteous and respectful behavior, and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude
Perform all other duties as directed by management that are consistent with the policies and procedures of the hotel
Experience: At least one year experience with networks, computers, and telephony. Prior hotel experience required. Prior experience within a four-star hotel brand preferred. Experience in a networked computer environment
Essential: Background and experience with IT systems
Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience required, Good communication and people skills, Computer certification preferred
Availability to work in different shifts
Intermediate English level is a must
