IT Strategy Analyst (f/m/d), Barcelona

Our Team, IT Strategy and Digital Initiatives, is looking for an IT Strategy Analyst.

We are looking for someone passionate about bringing together business and new technologies to unlock the value they can bring – supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and value for all our customers and consumers. The diversity of tasks and stakeholders requires proactivity, independence, leadership, curiosity and will give the opportunity to contribute to a large range of strategic initiatives in the group.

This position is preferably located in Munich, Germany or alternatively one of our European offices such as Gothenburg, Lisbon, Hamburg and Barcelona, joining the IT Strategy and Digital Initiatives team and working closely with the VP IT Strategy and Business Technology.

As a key member of the IT Strategy team, you will interact with all levels of IT and key business stakeholders to help shape and deliver an IT Strategy that is aligned to business outcomes, positioning Essity to maximize value from available technologies and make a real difference.

What You Will Do

1. Interact with all levels of IT and key business stakeholders to help shape and deliver an IT Strategy that aligns with business outcomes, positioning Essity to maximize value from available technologies.
2. Oversee a portfolio of IT initiatives, business and IT-led, that help to move the business forward.
3. Monitor and report where improvements are needed and how they can be realized, understanding the business value chain.
4. Participate in strategic initiatives covering both business and IT.

In particular, Essity sees sustainability, both for people and the planet, as a critical part of our objectives. IT plays a key role in enabling this for the broader business while ensuring an IT function that delivers in its own right.

8. Demonstrated ability to perform in a team with dynamic responsibilities.
9. Strategic-thinking skills.
10. Available for travel.

Background

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (IT or Business focused).
2. 3+ years working experience in IT or business functions.
3. Proven project delivery experience, especially in a dynamic and evolving environment.
4. Hands-on understanding of data analytics.
