I’m seeking a talented IT Software Project Manager for one of our clients in Barcelona, Spain, a leading technology company specializing in automation solutions for various industries. Job Description:
As an IT Software Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing projects in the automation sector. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about project progress, milestones, and any potential issues.
3. Team Leadership: Manage a team of developers, ensuring they have clear objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
4. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to understand and translate their needs into clear project requirements and specifications.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
6. Quality Assurance: Oversee testing activities to ensure software solutions meet quality standards and meet client requirements.
7. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Software IT Project Manager, preferably in the automation sector.
3. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
6. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Fluency in English; Spanish, and German language skills is a plus.
