As IT & Data Performance and Governance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering both the IT & Data mission and renew ambition by enabling business growth through technology and data.

Mission of the role

The mission of the Performance and Governance Manager is to enhance the operational efficiency and strategic alignment of the Marketing and SNU IT & Data team through robust performance management, stringent governance, and effective financial oversight. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial prudence within a complex and matrix organizational environment.

The Performance and Governance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance management processes, ensuring governance standards are met, coordinating the control of operational expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX), and operating effectively within complex and matrixed organizational structures within the Marketing and SNU IT & Data team and beyond.

Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results

• Develop and implement performance management frameworks for assessing the effectiveness of IT initiatives and projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with governance standards.
• Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, OPEX, and CAPEX, providing insights and recommendations for financial optimization.
• Conduct regular reviews of IT policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and adhered to.
• Collaborate with IT & Data Director and other stakeholders to identify areas of risk and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead efforts to standardize processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the IT & Data team.
• Manage the budgeting process for OPEX and CAPEX, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
• Navigate and operate effectively within complex and matrixed organizational structures, fostering collaboration and alignment across different functions and teams.

About You

• A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in performance management, financial management, and operating within a matrix organization within an IT setting is preferable.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data, financial information, and organizational dynamics are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
• Knowledge of IT standards, compliance regulations, and industry best practices is also necessary.
• Experience with data analysis tools, performance management software, financial management systems, and organizational mapping tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and IT service management frameworks.
