Job Description:

Position Summary: In this position, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product Label Information and the work of the development team. Works closely with the IT Product manager to ensure that releases are reflective of product strategy (i.e., Vision and Roadmap) and customer needs and acts as a key information conduit for the development team. As the owner of the Product backlog, you are accountable for the backlog items prioritization and for the overall tactical value delivery in the Product Lifecycle.

A day in the life of...

  1. Ensures that increments and releases delivered are in line with the mid-long-term strategy; works with the IT Product Manager to build and ensures delivery of the Product Roadmap and Vision.
  2. Advocates for the receiver by observing and interacting with users, reviewing feedback, and defining personas to guide development. Observes, learns and analyzes the market and technology trends.
  3. Ensures that user stories and fixes are prepared with clear descriptions and acceptance criteria so that the team is aligned on what is to be delivered; specifies acceptance tests and works with the team to define a clear definition of “done”.
  4. Leads day-to-day backlog management (including refinement and prioritization) and release planning. Makes key decisions to accept or reject work based on various inputs and provides user stories for sprint planning.
  5. Helps the team to improve their process and tighten the feedback loop on the product. Inspires, recognizes achievements, and provides constructive feedback in retrospectives.
  6. Helps communicate product progress, new features and releases to receivers and stakeholders.
  7. Creates structured projects, implementing IT agile project methodologies consistent with overall IT customer objectives and strategic plans.
  8. Develops and controls the Project budget, and manages expenditure within agreed plans.
  9. Establishes agile-led, deliverable-based Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  10. Manages the stakeholder engagement & commit project sponsors.
  11. Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions for the project in accordance with enterprise policies, practices and on behalf of the executive sponsor.
  12. Manages day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams & ensures adherence to the project plan.
  13. Produces timely, detailed summaries and high-level reports and provides project schedule, actual vs. budget, incremental value and earned value information in project progress report.
  14. Packaging Workflow (D2D) integrated with Content 2.0.
  15. Content Hub Labelling Project roll out & evolution.
  16. Continuous improvement on Integration with SAP Labelling & PDH.
  17. Analytics on Label Information program.
  18. Product version upgrade.
  19. Product Innovation.

What will make you successful:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, digital marketing, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. 4 to 8 years of experience as Project Manager of software development projects.
  3. 4 to 8 years of experience in IT and business/industry.
  4. You are familiar with PMP, PRINCE2, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and/or other industry standard methodologies or frameworks.
  5. You have experience with Atlassian PM Tools (Jira, Confluence etc.) as well as standard MS Tools (Sharepoint, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.).
  6. You have strategic thinking and business acumen.
  7. You are experienced in stakeholder management as well as in conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment.
  8. Experience in managing change/transitions and change impacts. Operating in a matrix organization and development of influencing skills.
  9. You communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical professionals, in English.
  10. Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
  11. Ability to lead and create an environment that motivates individuals to work collaboratively as ONE IT team.
