iOS & visionOS Developer

Role Overview:

We're seeking a full-time iOS and visionOS developer that will be leading our efforts of building and maintaining the apps and SDKs powering YBVR's immersive and interactive capabilities. You will be surrounded by a strong team, building and evolving these groundbreaking technologies for all major mobile and XR platforms, with a strong entrepreneurial vibe.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead iOS / visionOS client app and SDK development.
2. Collaborate with our development team to create impactful immersive video apps.
3. Design and innovate new features, build reusable components, and provide clear documentation.
4. Develop test automation tools for comprehensive streaming cycles and client apps.
5. Contribute to team growth through mentoring, code reviews, and shared learning.
6. Plan development timelines, assess potential risks, and coordinate project strategies.
7. Bring ideas to life with prototyping.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 1+ year in the software development realm.
2. Proficient in Swift for iOS.
3. Familiarity with C / C++ on iOS.
4. Proactive mindset to embrace and tackle challenges.
5. Comprehensive understanding of the software development process.
6. Commitment to quality documentation and effective code management.

Desirable Skills (Not required, but would give you an edge):

1. 2+ years in software development.
2. Experience with 3D Graphics and Shaders, especially OpenGL / Metal.
3. Hands-on experience with Apple video streaming frameworks or others (e.g., FFMPEG, VLC).
4. BS / MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
5. Experience in a scrum / agile environment.
