About the Company:
Our client is a globally diversified business group with a strong presence across multiple industries, including automotive, mobility solutions, energy, financial services, real estate, and consumer goods. As part of its expansion in the energy sector, we are seeking an Interim CEO to lead and develop the BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) distribution strategy for the European market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the BESS distribution strategy and execution plan for the European market.
2. Profit & Commercial Management: Oversee P&L responsibilities, ensuring commercial growth and market expansion.
3. Market & Regulatory Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the UK and EU markets (Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, etc.), including market regulations and key industry trends.
4. Supply Chain & Distribution: Drive supply chain efficiency and establish robust distribution channels.
5. Partnership & Business Development: Build and manage relationships with BESS manufacturers and key commercial players, fostering partnerships, joint ventures (JVs), M&A opportunities, and distribution agreements.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven leadership experience at a CEO or Senior VP level, with strong profit center and commercial management expertise.
2. Extensive experience in the BESS sector, including market knowledge, supply chain, and distribution.
3. A strong network of BESS manufacturers and key players in commercial channels.
4. Experience structuring various partnership models (distribution agreements, JVs, M&A, etc.).
5. Ability to lead strategic growth initiatives and drive execution during the early phases of expansion.
6. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
