Job Summary :
With direct report The India HR Director, the India HR Manager is located in India (Bangalore) and responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of HR operations, including Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, International and Domestic Mobility, Labour Compliance, Personnel Administration, and HRMS. This role manages and ensures the smooth execution of HR policies, regulatory compliance, and seamless HR service delivery to support business objectives.
Additionally, this role will lead and coordinate a team of 15 HR professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with business needs.
Availability to travel or be relocated to Chennai & Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities :
- Compensation & Benefits :
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies aligned with company policies to ensure pay structures remain competitive.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including insurances and incentives.
- In coordination with Labour Compliance Officer, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory compensation and benefits requirements.
- Streamline Benefits.
- Payroll Management :
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security, and other statutory obligations.
- Implement payroll policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to address payroll-related concerns.
- Onboarding and Exiting :
- Oversee the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans & ensure that disciplinary matters are properly handled.
- International & Domestic Mobility :
- Oversee employee mobility programs, including international assignments, visa processing, and expatriate management.
- Ensure compliance with local and international immigration laws and mobility policies.
- Labour Compliance & Regulatory Affairs :
- Ensure HR policies comply with Indian labor laws and global corporate standards.
- Oversee disciplinary matters.
- Oversee maintenance compliance with statutory requirements.
- HR Administration :
- Manage HR administrative functions, including employee records, HR documentation, and policy updates.
- Oversee HR support services such as onboarding, exit formalities, and employee lifecycle management.
- HRMS & Digital Transformation :
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRMS solutions for seamless HR operations.
- Leverage HR technology to automate processes, enhance reporting, and improve data accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to integrate digital HR tools for efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Availability to live in India on a stable basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience.
- Experience in managing multi-location HR operations in a multinational environment preferred.
