Role Summary: As a Junior Recruitment Consultant, your primary focus will be identifying, screening, and engaging candidates for M&A and Private Equity roles across Europe. You will work closely with senior recruiters, conducting initial assessments and helping to match top talent with high-profile clients. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in recruitment and finance, strong research skills, and a proactive approach to identifying top candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Candidate Sourcing: Proactively research and identify high-potential candidates for M&A and Private Equity roles using various platforms (LinkedIn, databases, job boards, networking, etc.).
2. Screening and Initial Assessment: Conduct preliminary phone and video interviews to evaluate candidates’ experience, skills, and cultural fit.
3. Resume and Profile Analysis: Review and assess resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and applications to identify the most suitable candidates.
4. Talent Mapping: Build and maintain a structured database of potential candidates within the M&A and Private Equity sectors.
5. Market Research: Gather and analyze market intelligence on talent trends, hiring movements, and industry developments in M&A and Private Equity.
6. Database Management: Ensure candidate information is accurately updated and maintained within the company’s CRM system.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with senior recruiters and consultants to refine sourcing strategies and improve candidate pipelines.
8. Candidate Engagement: Maintain communication with potential candidates, keeping them informed about relevant opportunities and career paths.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 6 months – 2 years in recruitment, research, or a related role, ideally in M&A, Private Equity, or financial services.
2. Education: A degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
3. Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a plus.
4. Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze CVs, job descriptions, and industry trends with strong attention to detail.
5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for engaging with candidates and internal teams.
6. Technical Skills: Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems, or recruitment tools is advantageous.
7. Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
8. Flexibility: Ability to work part-time or full-time with flexible hours, either remotely or from our modern Barcelona office.
