Overview
Quality is a key driver of competitive advantage in the Ice Cream business. The Partner Quality Manager plays a crucial role in embedding a strong culture of quality within the business group, ensuring every product delivers the best experience and delights our consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Supplier Quality Program
- Drive and Manage supplier development in terms of quality (food safety & product quality)
- Develop and execute strategy for qualification of new suppliers in SC (onboarding)
- Develop and execute the supplier risk classification supported by R&D
- Lead Supplier Quality Agenda for key Global Suppliers, supported by BU Quality team (development/improvement processes)
- Lead Supplier Audit Program, defining protocols and frequency
- Ensure supplier assessments are performed and actions closed (non-conformance)
- Lead Digital Supplier Quality Program
- Develop and execute Supplier Training Program
- Develop and manage the Supplier Quality Manual (Service Quality Agreement)
- Lead Collaborative Manufacturing Quality Program
- Develop and execute strategy for new CMs
- Lead CMs Audit Quality Program, defining protocols and frequency
- Ensure CMs assessment and actions closed (CAPA)
- Lead Digital CM Quality Program
- Develop and execute CM's Quality Training
- Develop and manage CM’s Quality Manual (Service Quality Agreement)
Professional Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (i.e.: GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000, ISO, and local food labeling requirements)
- Proven experience in quality management within Food companies, supplier quality management, and manufacturing process
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a quality/engineer/SC leader
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems
- Experience in virtual teamwork
- Must be a team player capable of integrating and working well in a cross-functional team
- Results-driven, with analytical and numeric skills
- Strong understanding of the wide range of quality management tools and experience in using them
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Strong ability to work to deadlines and task prioritization
- Auditing skills and clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy, and compliance risks
