Main purpose of the SAP Basis Specialist will be to ensure the SAP Cloud environment is kept simple, scalable, resilient and vendor-agnostic, focusing on performance and availability.

The SAP Basis Specialist will work side to side with the SAP Operations Manager and the Sr. Director for Network & Infrastructure, focusing on continuous improvement of the whole SAP landscape, including non-SAP applications if applicable.

Roles/Responsibilities

1. Ensure top-notch performance for all SAP systems in the landscape by proactively identifying areas of improvement.
2. Expanding current SAP solutions for scale, resiliency and maintainability by leveraging cloud functionality.
3. Architecting new SAP Cloud solutions and integrating them with already existing on-premise and cloud systems.
4. Working on the cutting edge of a wide range of innovative use cases, in collaboration with RHG Product management department.
5. Setting up and configuring SAP based on best practices.
6. Automating SAP deployment, configuration and operations.
7. Work closely with engineering teams and program management to execute RHG 5YP strategy planning in accordance to SAP migrations and Cloud improvement matters.
8. Ensure the project is delivered as per the terms in the contract: quality, schedule and cost.
9. Proactive Monitor and Control: Ensure system performance is not hindered by incorrect resource assignment or utilization. Identify trends in day-to-day operation and actively work on solving issues before they become problems.
10. General: Ensure a high degree of collaboration and good team spirit is achieved across all parties during the project. Must be able to interact at Director, Senior Director and VP levels.

Accountabilities

SAP Basis Specialist accountability will be smooth operation, continuous innovation and transformation of Radisson’s SAP Cloud environments.

Job requirements and qualifications:

Location

· Madrid highly preferable

· English fluent almost native is a must

Must have experience

1. Excellent SAP BASIS, SAP Technical Architect, business development, infrastructure and cloud experience
2. Experience and deep knowledge of SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration
3. Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration or upgrades
4. Highly technical and analytical, possessing 10+ years of IT consulting experience as a technical specialist in enterprise customer or partner
5. Substantial experience as an architect, designing and implementing large-scale solutions in the Enterprise sector working for or with FTSE 100 (or equivalent) sized companies
6. Expertise in the Big Data, Analytics and Machine Learning domains using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Teradata, Redshift etc.
7. At least 5 years of international experience

Highly desirable experience

1. Broad knowledge of the entire SAP platform stack.
2. Deep experience with SAP HANA.
3. Experience with SAP PO, SAP BO.
4. Experience with SAP ASE databases.
5. Previous experience with Cloud and architecting SAP solutions on Cloud.
6. Hospitality experience.
7. Up to 30%, primarily to Brussels
8. Very good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
9. Passion for customer service, efficiency, effectiveness and quality
10. Good team player, willingness to assist others and share expertise
11. Highly influential, leadership, communication at least at director level, efficiency, sociability
12. University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
13. A recognized project management qualification is preferable.
