We are looking for a Hotel General Manager to lead one of the key properties of a fast-growing hospitality group. The hotel is located in the heart of Madrid, offering a vibrant and dynamic environment for both guests and staff. It features a renowned restaurant and an impressive rooftop, providing breathtaking views of the city.
As the group continues to expand both nationally and internationally, we seek an experienced hotel management professional who can drive operational excellence, lead a high-performing team, and enhance guest experiences.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
We need a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach. This role is pivotal in ensuring the hotel’s success, optimizing business operations, and maintaining high service standards.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Oversee and coordinate all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and additional services.
Ensure adherence to the company’s quality standards and operational procedures.
Guest Experience
Deliver an outstanding and personalized guest experience.
Handle guest complaints and issues efficiently and professionally.
Team Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff.
Foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging high performance.
Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
Financial & Business Management
Manage the hotel’s budget and optimize operational costs.
Prepare financial reports and performance analyses.
Develop strategies to maximize revenue and meet business goals.
Sales & Marketing Strategy
Implement marketing and sales initiatives to attract and retain customers.
Work closely with travel agencies, online booking platforms, and commercial partners.
Facilities & Safety Compliance
Ensure the hotel’s facilities are well-maintained and in top condition.
Comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Supplier & Business Relations
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Identify and establish partnerships with key industry players.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT FOR THIS ROLE?
Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role.
High-level English proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.
Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related fields.
Strong leadership, team management, and strategic decision-making skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to multitask efficiently.
Results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using hotel management systems (PMS, ERP) and digital tools.
