We're Hiring: HR Generalist – Barcelona, Spain (6-Month Contract)

Duration: 6-month contract

Salary: €35000 - 38000 annual FTE equivalent

At Amazon, our HR Partners (HRPs) play a crucial role in supporting business leaders, providing expert guidance on employment law, Amazon policies, and HR best practices. Acting as true generalists, HRPs collaborate with various corporate teams to deliver high-quality, efficient HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support Works Council (WC) operations by gathering and analyzing workforce data.
2. Prepare reports on key HR metrics (headcount, turnover, promotions, etc.).
3. Track and document WC queries and concerns.
4. Maintain accurate records of WC communications and agreements.
5. Coordinate and schedule regular WC meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
6. Ensure legal compliance in all WC interactions.
7. Facilitate communication between management and WC members.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 3+ years of experience in HR, ideally in a multinational environment.
2. Proven experience working with Works Councils and employee relations.
3. Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR best practices.
4. Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
5. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
