As the Head of Project Management Iberia (all genders), you will be a key member of our European leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of EPC. With a pipeline in Iberia exceeding 2,500 MW and more than 1.000 MW under construction, you will be responsible for the execution of such projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Project Finance, and HSE, to ensure smooth project delivery and foster a collaborative culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Project Management teams, currently comprising over 25 employees , ensuring the successful delivery of photovoltaic wind and BESS projects.
- Take ownership of the projects at RTB ensuring timely completion of projects within budgetary and financing constraints until PAC.
- Assume responsibility for project planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination between cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Work together with the Procurement and Engineering on the tender preparation, contractor selection, as well as on contract negotiations with suppliers, construction companies, and service providers.
- Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, and schedules, taking corrective actions when necessary to meet project objectives.
- Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture and always ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct.
- Ensure comprehensive project documentation and facilitate smooth handover of completed projects to O&M and Asset Management.
Requirements
- Full understanding of the solar and wind value chain.
- 10+ years of professional experience in the renewable energy industry, of which at least 5+ years in Spain or Portugal.
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in project management
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale renewable energy projects on time and within budget despite challenging conditions.
- Expertise in complex project management, including planning, execution, and problem resolution.
- Strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) mindset.
- Success-driven personality and skilled negotiator with a focus on achieving project goals.
- Advanced technical and commercial acumen.
- Willingness to travel within Iberia as needed.
- Business fluency in Spanish and English is required. Portuguese is a strong plus!
