Job Description
The Head of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) at NIQ will be a key leader in driving marketing strategies for our top accounts across core verticals. This role requires a highly experienced marketing leader with a deep understanding of ABM, along with the ability to build bespoke marketing plans tailored to individual clients or categories. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior internal account directors to deliver innovative, high-impact marketing strategies that drive measurable business results and strengthen relationships with top clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Account-Based Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute customized marketing strategies for each of the top accounts, aligning with client-specific objectives, industry trends, and NIQ’s overall business strategy. Ensure these strategies are scalable, measurable, and drive revenue growth.
- Collaboration with Account Directors: Build strong relationships with senior internal account directors, understanding their goals and objectives to align ABM efforts with broader account strategies. Foster collaborative working relationships across departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Act as the marketing lead for top accounts, engaging with senior stakeholders within those accounts to drive marketing activities and build long-term partnerships. Manage client relationships, ensuring marketing strategies are tailored and meet client expectations.
- Expertise: Be recognized as an expert within the company in the field of ABM, providing guidance, advice, and consultation to internal teams and executives on best practices and new techniques for driving ABM success.
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify unique marketing challenges that have a broad impact on the business. Use innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions that solve complex challenges for key accounts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and data teams to leverage insights and ensure that marketing plans are aligned with the commercial objectives of the business.
- Reporting & Analytics: Measure the effectiveness of ABM campaigns, providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership. Ensure campaigns are continuously optimized to deliver high ROI.
- Leadership & Guidance: Upskill a group of talented marketing professionals into ABM professionals, providing mentorship and thought leadership to ensure the team executes at the highest level. Guide the strategic direction of ABM efforts to drive results for the business.

- Job Functional Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of ABM strategies and principles, with a proven track record in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns. Ability to provide strategic direction and functional expertise in ABM.
- Business Expertise: Strong understanding of the business, including the ability to anticipate client needs, business trends, and regulatory changes that could impact the marketing strategy for key accounts.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, with experience in managing complex marketing strategies. Ability to influence and provide thought leadership across different departments and senior executives.
- Problem Solving: Expertise in identifying unique challenges and developing innovative, business-critical solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, both internally and externally, and to influence decisions at senior levels.
- Impact: A proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies that impact the strategic direction of the business, with measurable outcomes on revenue and client engagement.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in account-based marketing or a related field, with a focus on large, strategic accounts.
- Experience in managing high-profile accounts within a B2B marketing environment, ideally within the data analytics or consumer goods industries.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. Proficient in MS software packages along with CRM suites and marketing automation tools such as MS Dynamics or similar.
- Skilled and experienced in strategic planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns on regional/local digital channels, not limited to LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Instagram and programmatic advertising.
- Language Fluency and Proficiency in English and any other language would be desired.

- Ability to manage and successfully partner with global, region and country stakeholders, especially but not limited to commercial leaders.
- Results-driven and savvy in data analysis when measuring campaigns' impact and adjusts strategy accordingly. Ability to leverage the full marketing mix and communication tools to drive demand into funnel for revenue impact and strengthening brand value and preference.
- Ability to operate and lead in complex matrixed and high-paced organization, adept communicator and entrepreneurial influencer, with strong execution skills to deliver results under pressure.
- Ability to identify and solve or escalate potential challenges, issues and barriers to communication effectiveness and using influence, diplomacy, critical-thinking and creative problem-solving to address them.
- Outstanding communication skills, ability to craft messages that resonate with the target audience and elevate the NIQ Brand.
