The Group Employee Relations and Group Benefits Department is looking for an Employee Relations Manager for Spain and Iberia (RRS Spain and Iberia).
The RRS Spain and Iberia reports to the Director of Group Employee Relations and Benefits, based in Paris (France). He/she reports functionally to the International HR Director or the Spain HR Director.
SCOPE OF INTERVENTION
The RRS Spain and Iberia is responsible for the Iberia zone (Spain and Portugal), with a strong focus on Spain. He/she will therefore be fully conversant with Spanish social legislation and regulations. He/she will be able to work with correspondents who are familiar with Portuguese law (Portugal HR departments, Portuguese law firms).
With a solid background in labour law, highly experienced in collective bargaining and social dialogue within companies, the RRS Spain and Iberia will manage labour relations for Saur subsidiaries in the Iberia zone (Spain 95% - Portugal 5% in the role of activity coordinator) and ensure compliance with labour legislation and regulations within the perimeter.
In particular :
YOUR PROFILE
Training in Spanish employment law (5 years‘ higher education) + at least 7 to 10 years’ experience as an Employee Relations Manager in an international company or group.
Mastery of Spanish social legislation and regulations, ability to work with several collective agreements.
Ability to work in an international, complex and matrix environment.
A very strong aptitude for industrial relations and collective bargaining in a social partnership mode, and the ability to anticipate and manage industrial disputes (if necessary).
Understanding of business issues in a context of strong corporate development, risk management, sense of priorities and solution orientation.
Thoroughness, ability to listen, agility, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work as part of a team.
Respect for the highest standards of integrity, ethics and responsibility in all activities relating to labour relations and personnel management.
Excellent command of English (as the RRS Iberia reports to the Group Head of Employee Relations and Group Benefits, based in Paris (France) - fluency in French is highly valued, but not required for the position).
