The role

We are looking for a Head of Procurement to join our team dedicated to the design, implementation and maintenance of SCADA systems and control centers in the renewable energy sector. This role is key to ensure efficient, cost-effective and quality procurement of materials, equipment and services required for our projects.

Your responsibilities

1. Identify, evaluate and negotiate with national and international suppliers, establishing a procurement plan aligned with project schedules, ensuring the best conditions in prices, deadlines and quality.
2. Follow-up of the project procurement process with national and international suppliers, technical and commercial negotiation, and reporting to the client and project management on the evolution of project procurement.
3. Supervise the flow of materials to ensure availability in time and form.
4. Draft, analyze and formalize purchase contracts with suppliers.
5. Implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality.
6. Ensure that purchases comply with legal regulations and industry standards, both nationally and internationally.

Your skills and experience

1. Minimum 5-10 years in a similar role in engineering, renewable energy or SCADA technology sectors.
2. Willingness to travel frequently to other Isotrol locations (USA, Mexico, etc.).
3. Familiarity with components and equipment related to SCADA systems, renewable energy or automation technology.
4. Advanced knowledge of purchasing management tools, ERP and Excel.
5. Spanish and advanced English are a must, equivalent to B2 High or C1 level. Other languages are highly valued.
6. Advanced studies in Administration, Industrial Organization Engineering, International Trade or similar.
7. Excellent negotiation skills, organization and attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork.
