Hardware Electronics Designer

Sener is currently looking for a HW Electronics Designer to join our Avionics and Flight System Division at our Tres Cantos work center (Madrid).

We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. What you will do:

• Detailed design of HW-Electronics (functions or boards) for space and defence applications.
• Preparation of design related analysis and simulations (performance, FMEA, Parts stress).
• Preparation of test plans/procedures.
• Characterization and testing of the different designs.
• Support to requirement analysis activities: requirements assessment, criticality, complexity, cost-driving analysis, requirements flow-down.
• Documentation of the proposed design (design definition files).
• Support to other project involved areas such as Project Management, thermal & structural engineering, V&V engineering, PCB layout and design, manufacturing and integration.
• Participation in the company know-how evolution of the involved discipline.
• Contribution to design improvements (functions, tools, user information).

What we expect from you:

• High level of English.
• Highly desirable: experience in RF and High data rate boards design.
• Skills in the use of electronic design related tools: schematics capture, analysis and simulation.
• Knowledge and practice in other related areas (programming in Python, C, C++, VHDL knowledge, basic notions of Matlab, basic notions of thermal concepts).
• Desirable: familiarity with defence or space usual development standards and normative.
• Willingness and readiness for digital/connected industry: data analytics, processes automation, cross-collaboration tools, Model-based engineering.
• A person driven towards a traceable and rigorous job.
• Focused on teamwork: cooperative and generous spirit, empathic.
• Good communication, reporting and documentation skills.
• Autonomous and proactive attitude with capabilities for troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• Interest in other related areas: communications, Navigation and Control, SW.
• A curious person with an intrinsic interest about the world around him/her.
