Job Title: Group FP&A Senior Analyst


Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid


Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Group FP&A Senior Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and driving data-driven decision-making while ensuring data quality across various financial systems.

Key Responsibilities


  • Budgeting and Forecasting Process: Support the Group’s budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Forecasting Support: Aid in the development and maintenance of short-term and long-term financial forecasts, providing recommendations based on analysis.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Reporting & Insights: Preparation of senior management and board presentations explaining major drivers of forecasts/budget and explaining key movements, ensuring key messages are conveyed.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Support in monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success across financial and commercial domains.
  • Investor Relations: Support in providing analysis and insight to the Investor Relations team on anything budget/forecast related.
  • Data Collection and Quality Assurance: Collect financial data from the markets, ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling as required to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in and support various ad hoc projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function.

Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate environment, ideally from a Cosmetic, Consumer Goods, or a Pharma-related company.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, particularly MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multinational team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • 5-10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields.
