(GF-578) | Senior Java Software Engineer

As a Sr Java Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of different platforms and applications; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define new solutions.

What you'll do:

1. Develop scalable systems using Java and its tool ecosystem.
2. Translate business requirements into tasks and high-quality code, ensuring seamless functionality.
3. Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to deliver robust and maintainable features.
4. Collaborate closely with product stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into product improvements.
5. Lead discussions on system design, working with Product Managers to deliver business value.
6. Maintain and support production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
7. Contribute to the engineering community by sharing knowledge and best practices.

What we're looking for:

1. Proven experience as a Senior Java Backend Engineer, working on distributed and scalable systems.
2. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
3. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with a preference for Couchbase.
4. Familiarity with reactive programming (a plus).
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement high-performance, resilient applications.
6. A collaborative mindset, eager to work with cross-functional teams and mentor other engineers.
