The project!

As General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation and reporting of the financial statements of the respective companies.

What will the role entail?

1. Sales & Margin: Ensure that the margins of the business are correct and optimal, carrying out the following tasks: validation of monthly sales and margins integrated in the system and closing of purchases/retail (stock in transit, receipt of partial deliveries and returns).
2. Reconciliation: Review of online business.
3. Payroll: Posting and review of monthly payroll entry, cost analysis and provision control.
4. Intercompany reconciliation: Posting of intercompany accruals and invoices, as well as monthly reconciliation.
5. Execution of monthly transactions: Posting of recurring entries: depreciation, revaluation, and others.
6. Review and validation: Expenses and revenues posted in the P&L to ensure that the accounting records are true and accurate.
7. Tax Management: Posting and management of VAT and other tax returns.
8. Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
9. Management of annual accounting close: Attention to audit processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
• One year of experience in a similar position.
• Technical skills: Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Advanced English and Spanish level. French valuable.
