Job Title: Fund Sales Associate – Liquid Strategies

Location: Madrid, Spain

About the Role: A well-established investment management firm is seeking an experienced and driven Fund Sales Associate to expand its reach within the institutional investor market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund sales, particularly in liquid strategies, and a well-established network of institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute sales strategies to promote liquid fund strategies to institutional investors.
2. Identify and cultivate relationships with pension funds, family offices, wealth managers, and other institutional clients.
3. Drive asset growth by prospecting new clients and managing existing relationships.
4. Work closely with internal teams, including portfolio managers and marketing, to develop compelling sales materials and investment narratives.
5. Stay up to date on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to enhance business development efforts.
6. Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and networking events.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience in fund sales, with a focus on liquid strategies (e.g., equities, fixed income, alternative investments).
2. Strong existing network of institutional investors and a track record of successfully raising capital.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies to clients.
4. Deep understanding of financial markets and investment products.
5. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
6. Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
