Fraud Process and Continuous Improvement Manager

Your Purpose: The fraud strategy team is responsible for developing initiatives and relationships to safeguard Bitso users and help the company not only to make crypto useful, but also safe. This team analyzes new fraud trends, assesses their impact and plans preventive measures that are scalable and robust. The Process and Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for looking for improvements on processes that involve fraud prevention throughout the organization, ensuring excellent alignment with stakeholders and the leadership team. Additionally, this person will own the fraud risk management and controls, and will be the point of contact in the relationship with regulators and partners.

Reports To: Fraud Strategy Sr Manager

Who You Are:

  • Proven English & Spanish fluency is mandatory
  • +5 years experience managing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prior experience in financial services and fraud prevention is preferred
  • Proven track record of innovation, clever problem solving, and high-quality delivering
  • Must embrace change and thrive in an ever-evolving department
  • Demonstrate leadership skills including self-direction, mentoring, leading change through positive behavior

What You Will Do:

  • Process mapping, documentation, and optimization.
  • Proactively monitor and mitigate risks associated with fraud through robust control mechanisms.
  • Strong relationship with other enablement areas, such as Operations, Business Continuity, Compliance, Legal, Product.
  • Manage relationships and requests from regulators and banks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and addressing any inquiries or audits in a timely efficient manner.
