Key Responsibilities

• Local Management and Visual Inspections: Inspect the general condition of the plants. Accompany any stakeholders to the facilities. Support the team in managing the area and communicate with involved parties. Availability to visit plants in case of emergency.
• SCADA Event Monitoring: Verify and classify alarms or events daily. Analyze historical SCADA data, alarm analysis, and variable trend analysis.
• Maintenance Supervision: Follow up on maintenance plans. Conduct audits of plants / substations and BOP. Hold frequent meetings with the maintenance provider and report.
• Evacuation Infrastructure Management: Plan and manage the network, and if applicable, handle communication with the control center and the O&M provider in case of substation interruption to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Reports: Daily reporting and general support.
• QHSE Inspection: Ensure completion of the regulatory inspection schedule. Ensure compliance with relevant HSE rules and laws for the plants, including Exus and contractors. Conduct HSE audits and report incidents.
• Electrical Substation Action Plan: Participate in the development and implementation of action plans for substation incidents. Coordinate the development of a minimum stock of substation elements (cards, bottles, splices, etc.).
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in the creation and implementation of annual optimization plans. Support the company in the technical evaluation of potential asset acquisitions.

Qualifications

Professional Experience: 2 years of experience in the supervision or maintenance of power generation plants, ideally in operations, maintenance, or assembly in electrical substations.

Professional Skills: Highly proactive problem-solving, collaborative, and organized. Excel skills. Good communication skills.

Languages: High level of Spanish. Intermediate level of English is desirable. Other languages are highly appreciated (Portuguese, German, Italian, French, etc.).
