Job Description:

Created in 1987, Europerfil manufactures profiles, sandwich panels, and innovative constructive solutions for metal cladding for all kinds of buildings. As a specialist in metal cladding, Europerfil develops and manufactures a wide range of products that form the skin of buildings. This range includes constructive profiles for roofs, facades, composite floors, architectural facade profiles, polyurethane and polyisocyanate sandwich panels for roofs and facades, refrigeration and acoustic panels, and architectural facade panels, in addition to a wide range of accessories, color range, and coatings which adjunt to each project, atmosphere, and all surroundings.

Europerfil is present in all sectors of activity, innovating to offer a wide range of products, accessories, and constructive solutions for non-residential (industrial buildings, schools, social and cultural centres, refrigeration facilities, health centres, and buildings for transport and service stations) and residential buildings.

Europerfil started in a small factory located in Rubí (Barcelona). In 1992 we opened 10,000 m² of new facilities in Cervera (Lérida) for profile manufacture. In order to locate the first panel line started up in 1998, we built a further 10,000m². The second panel line opened in 2007 required the factory to be extended by an additional 10,000m². Today we have 30,000 m² of productive facilities in Cervera, in which the company makes constant investments to ensure that the productive means are the most advanced in the sector.

To strengthen our finance team and build our succession pipeline, we are looking for a Controller who will directly report to the CFO of Europerfil.

As Controller, you will start your career path in our team and can develop yourself in the succession pipeline for the group finance team or inside the company. We support you in your development with a strong development process, personal development action plans, and concrete training initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

• Contribute to financial reporting for Europerfil with a high focus on quality and deadlines according to Group requirements.
• Solid financial monitoring and performance management of sales, invoicing, down payments, and overdues.
• Contribute within the Controlling Network to provide advice and guidance to other teams to make appropriate decisions by analysing, identifying issues, challenging KPIs from an economic point of view, and suggesting and influencing business improvement, in order to increase AMC overall profitability and cost-effectiveness while minimizing working capital.
• Internal control: Improve internal control of entity, implementation, and follow-up of controls implementation.
• Reporting: Related to costs reporting.
• Sales & margin follow-up/analysis.
• Close collaboration with the shared service functions in the Group with focus on accounting, tax, and credit management in monthly and annual closing processes.
• Contribution for budget, flash, forecast processes with local management. Ensure timely statistic data reporting to government and Intrastat on investments, production, sales, export, and import information.

Skills & Background:

Education requirement:

• University degree (Accounting, Finance, or Applied Economics), Business School.

Experience & knowledge requirements:

• 3 years recognized experience in accounting or controlling positions.
• Good level of leadership capabilities with proven experience in a leading role.
• Capacity to work both with a high level of detail and to take a helicopter view to detect and report key performance factors and recommend action plans.
• Results orientation: aims to minimize time spent on mandatory tasks (timely and accurately) to finally deliver the best possible business value (low cost, high value), proactively overcome obstacles and adapt approach to achieve results.
• Good level of teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of BPM and SAP is a strong advantage.

Language requirement:
