Position Overview

As Head of Engineering, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, high-quality engineering output, and alignment with business goals. You will work closely with the Product Manager and leadership team to define and execute the technical vision, while also expanding, mentoring, and actively contributing to the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, manage, and expand the engineering team, ensuring efficient execution and high-quality delivery.
• Own the technical architecture of our cybersecurity platform, making key design decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Oversee engineering execution, from planning to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and align with product and business goals.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and leadership team to define technical requirements, roadmaps, and priorities.
• Actively contribute to development, writing and reviewing code, guiding the team through complex technical challenges at both infrastructure and application levels.
• Mentor and support engineers, fostering a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.
• Identify and hire top talent to strengthen the team as we scale.

Must have :

• 7+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably in startups or fast-growing SaaS companies.
• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products, with a strong focus on design-driven architecture and product scalability.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and high-performance applications.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and security best practices for SaaS platforms.
• Deep understanding of scalable system design, microservices, and DevSecOps workflows.
• Strong knowledge of design-driven patterns and best practices in software engineering.
• Experience leading engineering execution, team management, and delivery processes.
• Proven ability to hire, mentor, and scale engineering teams in high-growth environments.
• Strong collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with Product, Research, and Operations teams.
• Hands-on coding and debugging skills, with a strong problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have :

• Experience building security products, particularly in threat detection, vulnerability management, or secure development workflows.
• Familiarity with public and private blockchain networks, smart contract security, and decentralized systems.
• Knowledge of AI / ML for security automation and threat detection.
• Exposure to customer-facing roles such as solution engineering or technical advisory.
