Tasks
We are looking for an accomplished Marketing and Communications Director | "Chief Storyteller" to lead the organization's marketing and communications strategy as we continue to expand our global market presence. The role includes designing, optimizing, and scaling our B2B Growth Marketing efforts, evolving our offer and our brand narrative for advocacy purposes, and coaching a team of highly motivated marketing professionals. The role requires exceptional project management, influencing, and interpersonal skills as you will engage with business leaders, executives, and board members both internally and externally. To be successful in this role, you will manage the details with a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to achieve successful outcomes.
- Marketing and Communications Team Lead (30% time)
**Success for the role**:
You lead the Marketing and Communications team in developing and executing a winning B2B Marketing and Communications strategy using the 3 sub-areas of our marketing department: Brand, Advocacy & Community (awareness & community building), B2B growth (lead gen & lead nurturing), and marketing agency (client retention & delight). - Set annual and quarterly goals with the Marketing and Communications team and the leadership team.
- Own team costs and revenue objectives in close collaboration with our Sales Lead, Growth Lead, COO, and CEO.
- Develop the tools and processes needed to monitor the work being done by the Marketing and Communications team and report Marketing performance KPIs.
- Coach team members to ensure they move along with agreed initiatives and are healthy and happy within the organization.
- Connect with the other teams, such as the Product, Sales, and Client Relations, to continuously optimize your strategy and make informed decisions.
- Ultimately, own the Marketing and Communications organogram to build and grow the team to meet Bridge for Billions' needs as an ever-evolving startup.
- Brand Advocate and Chief Storyteller (50% time)

You are responsible for evolving and using our brand narrative to ensure desired market penetration in a multi-channel Marketing and Communications Strategy. - Evolve our brand narrative to connect with our target audiences and keep the whole team accountable for the correct implementation through all our channels.
- Inspire and direct ideas that lead to involving content across all our channels.
- Unleash a content engine where users help on the content creation.
- Turn every member of our ecosystem into a Bridge for Billions ambassador.
- Streamline and improve the way our team develops content, with better executions coming out.
- Flawless coordination between markets in every single piece of content coming out.
- Develop and execute an Advocacy Strategy with our Public Relations Expert and our Social Media Manager.
- Be one of the public spokespersons for Bridge for Billions within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
- B2B Growth Marketing & “Marketing Agency” Supporter (20% time)
**Success for the role**:
You oversee our B2B Growth Marketing team in increasing the conversion rates of our sales funnel and testing new acquisition strategies, as well as coordinate our efforts in the Bridge Marketing Agency that provides marketing services as part of our offering to B2B clients. - Coordinate the efforts of B2B Growth team and Agency team.
- Support in the optimization of our current outbound strategies and creation of an improved inbound strategy.
- Work hand in hand with our B2B Growth Manager to execute multi-format growth tactics that close the gaps in our sales funnel and answer our sales team's needs.
- Ensure all content developed in the 3 sub-areas (Brand & Advocacy, B2B Growth and Agency) are aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
