As an External Strategic Buyer, your main mission will be to manage and create new external purchasing contracts for the energy sector.
Your tasks will be:
- Handling complex tasks associated with Consulting, Mobility, Engineering, and Certification and other topics related to indirect sourcing.
- Maintaining and improving the relationship with the internal business partner as a key account. Anticipating the need through constant communication.
- Obtaining quotes and specifications.
- Participating in developments and improvement and coordination of shared processes.
- Having a leadership role throughout the acquisition process and strategy development. Being a constant link between the internal and external business partner throughout the negotiation.
- Overall cost optimization through innovation, negotiations, identification of cost drivers, working capital management, process improvement.
- Optimizing the supplier base. Maintaining the relationship with the preferred supplier, seeking new suppliers, and driving a pragmatic and optimized supplier strategy.
- Leading the process until the contract is signed and supporting the tactical purchasing team for the creation of the purchase order. Presentation of the contract to the internal business partner and follow-up with contract management.
We think of you as a person with:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Law or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in purchasing environment, managing similar categories.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Spanish and English fluent is a must, German is a big plus.
- Proven ability for cross-functional cooperation.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Project Management and Leadership skills are welcomed.
- SAP Basic skills.
What the selection process will be like:
- You will receive a phone call from the Talent Acquisition team, where we can chat about more details about the project, your experience, and salary expectations (15 min).
- If the project interests you, you will have a first online interview with the Talent Acquisition manager to resolve any doubts about the project (40 min).
- The last phase will be a face-to-face technical validation with the project manager and you will learn more about the day-to-day work (45 min).
