We are looking for an Expert on water risks and climate change adaptation for our Environment team, in our offices in Madrid or Bilbao.

ABOUT YOU

Apply if you…

• You have studied civil engineering, environmental engineering or similar. A Master's degree in climate change, water, hydrology or natural risks is an asset.
• You have more than 15 years of professional experience.
• You have experience in engineering and/or environmental consultancy in hydraulic and mitigation works, hydrological and hydraulic modelling and Disaster Risk Management (DRM).
• You have experience in drainage projects, flood studies or flood risk analysis; experience in coastal risk analysis (flooding, erosion) is an asset.
• You have experience in leading hydrological and climate change assessments, water resources management or hydrosystems and at least 10 years of specific experience in hydrological analysis.
• You have experience in consultancy projects with multilaterals. Experience with cooperation agencies and development banks: IDB, WB, KfW, AFD, AECID, EIB, etc. will be an asset.
• It is essential to have knowledge of modelling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TETIS, IBER, EPANET, EPA SWMM, and other similar ones.
• Office package, AutoCAD, ArcMAP, Google Earth. Familiar with GIS (ArcGIS, QGis).
• Ability to work in a team and technical rigour.
• Autonomy and innovative mentality.
• Advanced English.
