Mission: Member of Iberia's Technical Team of Execution iHUB department, the Technical Project Designer is responsible for performing technical operational activities (e.g., design of layout or schematics, software coding, testing, and commissioning in office and onsite), related to a part of customer project, based on pre-defined technical specifications.
In his/her area of focus, identifies risks and interfaces, and provides the necessary reporting to the project technical stakeholders in Digital Energy, Automation, and Control Areas.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Provide and specify the technical solution according to the customer's requirements in relation to the offer.
2. Validate the technical choices and technical solutions supporting quoting phase and throughout the project and compliance of the final solution, according to Schneider solutions in Digital Energy, Automation, and Control areas scope.
3. Review technical documentation to optimize the solution and assure compliance with customer requirements.
4. Provide the necessary reporting to the Project Manager (PM) and/or instances of the Project.
5. Drive stakeholders' technical relationship and proactively communicate (provide and support technical solutions and specifications compliance).

Knowledge and Experience:

1. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in products and systems of Digital Energy, Automation, and Control Areas.
2. Knowledge and experience with equipment in Automation and Control Areas (PLCs, HMIs, computers, relays, etc.).
3. Knowledge and experience in software of Automation and Control Areas (PLCs programming, HMI/SCADAs, SQL, VBA, etc.).
4. Some knowledge in Schneider PLCs and their programming languages is an advantage.
5. Some knowledge in Schneider Electric and Aveva software and their programming languages is an advantage.
6. Some knowledge and experience in industrial equipment for communications is a plus advantage.
7. Some knowledge and experience in industrial protocol communications is a plus advantage.
8. Some knowledge in Cybersecurity standards and network designs is a plus advantage.
9. Experience in Microsoft tools (Excel with VBA, Word, etc.). Experience in MS Project is a plus advantage.
10. Experience with CAD software (Autocad, Eplan, SEE Electrical) is a plus advantage.
11. Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Ability to speak and write English with colleagues and customers.
12. Availability to travel and work in the Iberia area (Spain and Portugal, islands included) between 30% to 40% of the time. Possibility of traveling outside the Iberian area (Europe, Middle East, Africa, etc.).
