Descripción : Are you ready to lead strategic initiatives that will shape the future of small businesses? As Product Marketing Director, you will lead Sage Active as part of the Accounting & HR Division for Europe.

This is a hybrid role – three days per week from our Paris, Bordeaux, Barcelona, or Madrid offices.

This role is pivotal in understanding the unique challenges, opportunities, and competitive landscapes of targeted audiences to effectively position Sage Active in a way that resonates with customer-specific needs and drives market share growth. As a Product Marketing leader, you will define and deliver effective growth strategies, value proposition definition, market segmentation and customer profiling, pricing, packaging, tiering definition, messaging & positioning framework, and set launch strategies with clear objectives and goals aligned with the market opportunity.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring a deep understanding of customer needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends. You will partner with go-to-market functions for the launch of new value propositions in the selected regions ensuring we hit product / market fit, drive adoption and deliver against customer needs and commercial opportunity. On the other hand, you will interlock with our Product Teams to align on the strategic direction and positioning of our product roadmaps that increase customer adoption, innovation and deliver against our customer promises in these market segments.

Responsabilidades principales : In this role you will :

• Define the 3-5 year strategic direction for the Sage Active in collaboration with Product Management.
• Build actionable growth plans that align with market opportunities and customer needs to drive revenue and market share growth.
• Conduct in-depth market research and customer analysis through interviews, focus groups, and quantitative studies.
• Stay ahead of trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and inform product roadmap decisions.
• Develop clear and compelling value propositions tailored to customer segments.
• Craft messaging frameworks and differentiated positioning that resonate across markets.
• Lead the launch strategies of new products and features, partnering with Commercial teams to ensure product / market fit and successful implementation.
• Evolve pricing strategies and product packaging to address customer needs and competitive dynamics across multiple regions.
• Represent Sage as a subject matter expert at industry events, analyst meetings, and public forums.
• Develop and share insights on market trends to establish Sage as a leader in the business software space.

Required experience :

• Extensive proven track record in Product Marketing, preferably in the FinTech or software industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting or financial software and cloud-based solutions.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and one other European language (French is a plus).
• Exceptional leadership skills, with experience partnering with senior stakeholders (VP+ level).
• Expertise in launching innovative products in competitive markets.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and large audiences.
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (in Product Marketing).

You may have :

• Experience in working in multinational companies and / or multi-cultural and matrix organizations in the IT / Sw industry.
• Passion for technology including Cloud, Social, Mobile, and Analytics in B2B and B2C, and Digital and social engagement.
